Lightweight, ergonomic tripod engineered as a personal fall protection and rescue anchoring structure for confined spaces.

Designed to provide a compliant anchorage point for fall protection and rescue operations during confined space entry.

Aluminum construction allows easy handling, transport, and setup while maintaining strength for safety-critical applications.

Tripod configuration enables fast installation over access points without permanent structures or complex setup requirements.
The XTIRPA™ IN-8017 tripod, (available in two versions IN-2423 and IN-2429), is a lightweight aluminum anchorage system designed to support personal fall protection and rescue operations during confined space entry.
Designed for use over vertical access points such as manholes, vaults, and similar confined spaces, the tripod provides a stable and portable anchoring solution where no permanent overhead structure is available. Its aluminum construction ensures easy handling, transport, and efficient on-site deployment, while delivering the strength required for safety-critical applications.
The system is engineered to integrate seamlessly with personal fall arrest systems, lifelines, and retrieval devices, forming a complete access and rescue configuration. Intuitive setup and straightforward operation make the IN-8017 suitable for routine maintenance, inspection, and emergency response scenarios where reliability and efficiency are essential.
Certified in accordance with applicable international fall protection standards, the XTIRPA™ IN-8017 tripod supports compliant confined space operations while helping teams maintain a high level of safety and control during entry and exit.
IN-8017-01 (7-foot tripod)
A shorter-height model designed for confined space access where moderate clearance is required. This version is based on the 7-foot design (approx. 2134 mm) shown in the official system illustrations.
It provides a portable anchorage point while minimizing overall height and footprint.
IN-8017-02 (9-foot tripod)
A taller tripod version designed for deeper or higher entry points, featuring the 9-foot design (approx. 2743 mm) as depicted in the same system documentation.
This version is ideal when additional height or reach is needed for specific confined spaces.
Both versions share the same core safety design, aluminum construction, working load limits, and certification requirements. The difference lies primarily in the height and reach capability of the tripod frame, allowing users to select the configuration best suited to their specific access conditions.
